Origin: Originated from interosseous membrane and the posterior surface of the distal radius

Insertion: Inserted into base of the proximal phalanx of the thumb

Action: It extends the thumb at the metacarpophalangeal joint

Origin: Originated from common extensor tendon (lateral epicondyle of the humerus)

Insertion: Inserted into extensor expansion of digits 2-5

Innervation: Innervated by deep radial nerve

Action: It extends the metacarpophalangeal, proximal interphalangeal and distal interphalangeal joints of the 2nd-5th digits; extends wrist

Insertion: Inserted into medial side of the base of the 5th metacarpal

Action: It extends the wrist; adducts the hand

Origin: Originated from lateral surface of the distal radius towards the styloid process

Insertion: Inserted medially on the anterior aspect of the distal tibia.

Innervation: Does not have its own specific innervation

Action: It prevent bowstringing of the extensor tendons at the wrist and ankle

Origin:

Long Head: Supraglenoid tubercle and superior glenoid labrum of the scapula

Short Head:coracoid process of the scapula

Insertion: The muscle bellies of both heads converge to form a single tendon that inserts onto the radial tuberosity

Innervation: The musculocutaneous nerve provides motor innervation to the biceps brachii muscle

Action: It flex the elbow and supinate the forearm.

Origin: Originates from the distal end of the biceps brachii tendon and inserts into the deep fascia of the forearm

Insertion: It inserted into the deep fascia of the forearm, specifically the antebrachial fascia overlying the flexor muscles

Innervation: Not directly innervated

Action: Forearm supination (rotation of the hand and forearm so the palm faces upward) and protecting the brachial artery and median nerve

Source: Originated from axillary artery (brachial artery is the continuation of the axillary artery distal to the teres major muscle.)

Branches: It branches into deep brachial artery, superior ulnar collateral artery, nutrient artery, inferior ulnar collateral artery; terminal branches are the radial artery and the ulnar artery

Supply to: It supplies to the arm, forearm and hand

Source: Originated from lateral and medial cords of the brachial plexus

Branches: It branches into anterior interosseous nerves, palmar branches, recurrent (motor) branches, common palmar digital nn. (for digits 1-3)

Motor: Innervated the pronator teres muscle, flexor carpi radialis muscle, palmaris longus muscle, flexor digitorum superficialis muscle,flexor digitorum profundus muscle(radial half),flexor pollicis longus muscle,pronator quadratus muscle,abductor pollicis brevis muscle,flexor pollicis brevis muscle,opponens pollicis muscle,lateral 2 lumbrical mm.

Sensory: Provide the sensory to the skin of the radial half of the palm and palmar side of the lateral 3 1/2 digits (and nail bed for these digits)
